Mini-motos in North Worle

MJ Ray made this Freedom of Information request to North Somerset Council

North Somerset Council did not have the information requested.

4 March 2009

Dear Victoria Tudor,

I am writing about the request originally submitted on or around 30
January 2009 that you acknowledged on 26 February 2009 that was
allocated Freedom of Information Request Reference FOI/2009/0102.

Please note that your restatement of the request was slightly
inaccurate. I feel it should have read:-

Have (not has) the mini-motos (not motors) returned and if so, how
many incidents have been reported on these lanes (Madam Lane,
Ricketts Lane, Dunkite Lane and the path between Ebdon Road next to
St Marks School and Ricketts Lane) since then?

I understand that these inaccuracies may have come about because of
the unexpected-by-me handover of the request from Transport to
Corporate ICT.

I would appreciate it if you would reply through this
WhatDoTheyKnow system and cc me.

Yours faithfully,

MJ Ray

I made this request because the Transport department claimed in consultation discussions that their proposal to put fences across loads of lane junctions as part of a North Worle local safety scheme http://consult.n-somerset.gov.uk/inovem/... were because of problems with mini-motos. That contradicts local police reports, so I asked for the council's numbers.

This reply showed that they don't have evidence of mini-moto problems.
