Dear Sir or Madam,
I request under the Freedom Of Information Act 2000 the following
and would be grateful for any response.
The sum in total, if any, spent on licences for or purchase of
Microsoft Office software during each of the last two available
either
financial or calendar years.
Please note the figures I am interested in are specifically for
Microsoft Office licences and software, not other Microsoft
software.
What amount of this was for software used in schools?
Many thanks.
Yours sincerely,
Matt Townsend

Hello Matt-
Response to your freedom of information request below;
The sum in total, if any, spent on licences for or purchase of Microsoft
Office software during each of the last two available either financial or
calendar years.
Please note the figures I am interested in are specifically for Microsoft
Office licences and software, not other Microsoft software.
-- Monmouthshire spent £175k for each of 07/08 and 08/09 on MS Office
licenses and software. This figure was repeated because it is part of a 3
year 'Enterprise Agreement' licensing arrangement.
What amount of this was for software used in schools?
-- Approx 5% of this was for schools
I hope this is useful
