Dear Mr Watson
Request for Information
Further to Charlotte Powell's acknowledgement of 21 July 2008 we are now
in a position to provide you with a response to your request for
information dated 17 July 2008.
In your e-mail you asked for "... any documents or related material
regarding any meetings that have been conducted between the government and
uk isp's in regard to advertising technologys and what the outcome and
advice of such meetings were to each isp involved.".
We have considered your request in accordance with the requirements of the
Freedom of Information Act 2000. However, having consulted with the
relevant department within the ICO I have been advised that we do not hold
any of the information that you have asked for.
Given that your request has referred to meetings conducted between the
government and UK ISP's it may be more appropriate for you to direct your
request to the Department for Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform
(the BERR). The following link will take you to the Freedom of
Information page of their website, which gives details on how to make an
information request to the BERR under the Freedom of Information Act 2000:

If you are dissatisfied with the response you have received and wish to
