The request was successful.

From: Richard Taylor

2 September 2010

BBC Look East has this evening reported there is to be a meeting
between Cambridgeshire Police Authority and the county's MPs on the
subject of police funding.

Could you please let me know when and where this meeting is to be
held, and if it is to be open to the public.

Regards,

I asked Cambridge MP Julian Huppert if he knew when and where this meeting was to be held, and if it was public.

He responded to say "not sure; I can't make it".

Dear Cambridgeshire Police Authority,

I am writing to acknowledge receipt of your response to my FOI
request 'Meeting Between MPs and Police Authority'.

I am not happy that the authority failed to respond promptly to my
request for information. I made my request on the 2nd of September,
asking for the date of an upcoming meeting. You did not respond
until the 22nd of September and by that time the meeting I was
seeking to find out the date of had already occurred.

It appears you didn't publicise the details on your website until
the day of the meeting.

I would like to urge you to respond to such requests promptly, as
the law requires you to, in the future.

This is not a complaint, or a request for an internal review.

Regards,
