continuing contracts and fixed term contracts in the United Kingdom
in the following salary bands:

a)Bands 2 to 11
b)Bands 7 to 11

2) what is the median salary paid to full-time BBC staff employed
in the United Kingdom on continuing and fixed term contracts in the
BBC World Service in the following:

a)Bands 2 to 11

b)Bands 7 to 11

Dear Sir or Madam,

Re Request for Median Salary information

By salary, I mean the median gross salary, including London
weighting where applicable, and including UPA or similar
allowances. This is the salary before tax or any adjustment for
national insurance. The figures requested should exclude any
payment for overtime or extra responsiblity allowances, or bonuses.
