Dear Falkirk Council,
I would like he following information.......
My records show that Mary Pitcaithy attended a Common Purpose
meeting in Glasgow on the 2nd dec 2009, can you tell me why she was
at this meeting? i.e, what was said, how does it effect Falkirk
Council etc. Is she a member of Common Purpose?
Also can I have a full amount that it cost Mary Pitcaithy to attend
this meeting, travel expense's, food, the price of ticket to attend
the meeting etc?
And finally, who paid for Mary Pitcaithy to attend this meeting?
Was it funded by public money from the Government Grant/Council
Tax, or was it a sponsor?
yours faithfully,

Dear gow, lorna,
Thanks, but can you tell me what the "master class in leadership"
means? Common purpose give these type of meetings, but I thought it
was common purpose who did the master class.
Yours sincerely,

Dear Mr Ovens
As noted in our original response, Common Purpose invited Mary Pitcaithly to be the guest speaker at a masterclass on leadership. Common Purpose would best placed to provide any further information about general format/content of the masterclasses they run.
Thanks

Dear gow, lorna,
Thanks for the reply. Common Purpose do not do FOI requests, they
are a very secretive organisation who do not advertise in
local/national papers. They usually target Councils, Police, Health
board, Army etc, anything where authority breads. They do not do
work for the Plumber, bricklayer etc. It worries me that the
Taxpayer knows basically nothing about this organisation, yet helps
fund it. Outside Parliament, Common Purpose is probably the most
powerful force in Britain today, yet they remain unknown and a
registered charity. I hope you understand my concerns for
investigating this organisation.
Yours sincerely,
brian ovens

It was good of her to generously give her time to talk to the people attending this course.
Were all the expenses named above all paid for by common purpose?
Very generous when you think common purpose must have netted about £100,000 if 20 people attended.
