Dear Sir or Madam,

http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/co...

I would be very interested to know whether the Mark Radford
mentioned here is the same Mark Radford who is now senior Solicitor
on the Litigation team for KCC, and is now "dealing with" FOI
requests.

Yours faithfully,

Mr Brian Gerrish

Kent County Council

10 July 2009

Dear Mr Gerrish

Thank you for your request for information.

I can confirm that the Mark Radford who is employed by Kent County Council
as a senior solicitor is not the same person mentioned by Swale Borough
Council as having attending a Common Purpose training course. Aside
from sharing the same name as Swale Borough Council's Corporate Services
Director and returning Officer, there is no connection between these two
individuals.

If you are unhappy with this response, and believe KCC has not complied
with legislation, please ask for a review by following our complaints
process; details can be found at this link
[1]http://www.kent.gov.uk/council-and-democ...
on our website. Please quote reference FOI/09/682.

If you still remain dissatisfied following an internal review, you can
appeal to the Information Commissioner, who oversees compliance with the
Freedom of Information Act 2000. Details of what you need to do, should
you wish to pursue this course of action, are available from the
Information Commissioner's website
