Margo MacDonald MSP proposed Bill on Assisted Suicide

William Walton made this Freedom of Information request to Scottish Parliament

The request was successful.

From: William Walton

14 December 2008

Dear Sir or Madam,

Under the freedom of information act I would like to know if
The Scottish Parliament, as a public authority is going to tempt
breach of 'the right to life' article 2 of the Human Rights act
1998 by the allowance of Margo Macdonald MSP to bring forward a
bill on the assistance of suicide.

I would like to know whether the scottish parliament has looked at
this issue and whether any impeachment charges would be brought
against her due to her undertaking these actions and willfully
bringing the scottish parliament into disrepute.

Yours faithfully,

W. Walton
