Well, the DWP seem to be incapable of checking company registration, and rely on Seetec's own website, which publishes erroneous information.

Curiously, 'The Corporation of Newcastle College' (another provider) state, in the tender which they submitted to DWP, that they do not have to provide a registered company number as they are a charity and therefore exempt.

Neither 'The Corporation of Newcastle College' (or under its trading name the 'Newcastle College Group' NCG) are registered charities (on checking the charity commission website) or registered companies either(not on the companies house website).

How bizarre.

(Worth noting that BEST - Business Employment Services Training, state on their financial statements March 2010, that interim ordinary dividends amounted to £3.7 million)

I can confirm that on Friday 28 October 2011 at 0332, Companies House website: (http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/5c0e40...) does not report the existence of 'Seetec Group Ltd' as stated on the bottom of the home page of www.seetec.co.uk

However, the company registration number, as stated on the bottom of the home page of www.seetec.co.uk, is associated with the name 'SEETEC BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY CENTRE LIMITED' on companies house's website.

I note the following for the registration number: 'No previous name information has been recorded over the last 20 years.'

I don't understand why there should be this discrepancy.

Seetec, its all about "creaming" off as much pockets of "funding" as possible on your behalf, as necessary to validate the quality "service" provided to you as a minimum requirement, just make sure you don't get "parked" "sanctioned" or be in full knowledge of what waiving the Data protection Act entails!
At Seetec you will become "attached" to your "advisor" and that makes you soon to be a "participant" if you are already a loyal "customer", if you are not a "customer" you must be a "completer" of your 104 week stay at hotel Seetec, please come again soon and make sure you signed all the different guest books. All eligible funds have now been claimed, your CV has been tweaked 30 times and every office jocky along the way that played no part in your exit from your JSA claim has paid their tax and contributed to the revenue stream of "unemployment" by claiming more bonuses for impeccable service.
Embarrassing certificates, free toilet roll and the un reimbursed bus ticket, serve as nostalgic memento's.
