the National Audit Office (NAO) report 'Management of Asylum Applications
by the UK Border Agency.' Specifically, you have requested:

material held by the NAO which formed the basis/evidence of the
comments and findings made in the above report, concerning
unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, including anything obtained in

Dear J Cassidy,

The name of the senior caseworker from Croydon Council was redacted under
Section 40 (2) (personal information). It is our policy to redact names
of NAO staff below the grade of Audit Manager/Grade 7. In the case of
names of staff from other organisations we redact those of an equivalent
seniority. This decision was also taken on the advice of the council.

Annex B is at page 4 of the partial response letter. For your
convenience, I have included a copy below. The annex also includes a
summary of the information where we are still considering the public
interest under Section 33 (audit functions) of the Freedom of Information
Act 2000.

We are still consulting with third parties in relation to this final piece
of information and endeavour to have a response with you as soon as
possible.
