Dear DSEA-Secretariat Group Mailbox (MULTIUSER),

Thank you for your response to my FOI dated 19 October 2012. I am very disappointed to read your letter, especially as I have been informed that the MoD wrote a letter to the Prospect Union on 16 March 2012 signed by 2nd PUS John Day. This letter was sent only seven months ago so there must be a copy in the MoD Electronic Records Management System or a hard copy on file.

Bearing in mind my original request was made on 28 August 2012 I want you forthwith to provide me with an copy of said letter together with all associated emails and letters relating to the subject.

I consider failure to produce this correspondence a breach of your duties under the FOI Act. I could also think that the failure to produce the letter is a deliberate withholding information or perhaps is an indication of the poor quality of MOD record keeping.

Yours sincerely,

Fred WP Dawson

Dear Ministry of Defence,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Ministry of Defence's handling of my FOI request 'Loss of specialist capabilities needed to support the nuclear propulsion programme'.

As you will see from my email dated 23 October I have reason to believe that the information requested does exist and it is on this basis I am requesting an internal review

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address:

We apologise for the further delay.
