Local Nature Reserves in Scotland

Dear Sir or Madam,

Please could you provide me with a list of all Local Nature
Reserves in Scotland, with the following information given, where
possible, for each site:

a) the site name

b) the Local Authority area within which the site is located

c) the designating body

d) a grid reference for the site

e) the date the site was designated as an LNR

f) the size of the site

I would prefer to receive this information as an Excel spreadsheet
if that is possible.

Dear Ms Davis

In response to your enquiry on the information held by Scottish Natural Heritage on Local Nature Reserves.
Below is the link to the SNH web page that lists all the LNRs in Scotland. There are now 54 and the most recent, Commonhead Moss was designated by Glasgow City Council. SNH is waiting for information from the council to enable us to put this on the web page.

Users should go to SNHi/Facts&Figures/Protected Areas report 43 and select the most recent end of month date parameter (28-Feb-2009). This report will list each LNR and there is a facility to export the data to a spreadsheet.
The spreadsheet is attached below.
