I am writing in respect of your enquiry for information held by this
Authority under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act. Your
request was received on 24 August 2008 and you were seeking information
regarding findings of maladminstration against this Authority by the
Local Government Ombudsman. The response is set out below:
a) how many findings of maladministration the local government ombudsman

The Council's records go back to the financial year 2001/2 - in that
time there have been no findings of maladministration by the Local
Government Ombudsman.
b) how many findings of maladministration your council, either in full
or in part, has refused to accept.

refused to comply, either in full or in part, with the local
government ombudsman's recommended remedy.
