ombudsman has made against your council over the last 10 years.

b) how many findings of maladministration your council, either in
full or in part, has refused to accept.

c) how many findings of maladministration your council has accepted
but refused to comply, either in full or in part, with the local
government ombudsman's recommended remedy.

Dear Mrs Johnson

FOI Request - WDC Ref: 5211

Thank you for your request for information about findings by the Local
Government Ombudsman concerning this authority. Your request was received
on 25 August 2008 and I am dealing with it under the terms of the Freedom
of Information Act 2000.

I am pleased to provide responses to the issues raised as follows:

(a) Findings of Maladministration against Wycombe District Council
during the last ten years

This authority has had one finding of maladministration with
injustice in the year 2003/04, and four in the year 2007/08 (these were
four complaints regarding the same issue). Therefore the total for the
last ten years is five findings of maladministration.

(b) Acceptance of findings of the LG Ombudsman

This authority has accepted all findings of maladministration by
the LG Ombudsman.

(c) Compliance with accepted remedy by LG Ombudsman

This authority has fully accepted and complied with remedies as
proposed by the LG Ombudsman.

request and wish to make a complaint or request an review of our decision,

directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. Generally, the
ICO cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the complaints
