Thank you for your enquiry dated 24 August.

Unfortunately, I do not have a record of maladministration cases prior to 2000.
I am not aware of any cases of maladministration in the period 2000 - 2004
The Local Government Ombudsman website shows no cases of maladministration for the years 2005/06 and 2006/07
For 2007/08 it reports 4 cases of maladministration (all related to one issue). In each of these, we complied with the Ombudsman's recommendations.

Dear Mrs Johnson, our response is as follows:

a) we do not have this information prior to 2000. The relevant officer does not have any information of cases of maladministration in the period 2000 - 2004
The LGO website shows no cases of MA for the years 2005/06 and 2006/07. For 2007/08 it reports 4 cases.
b)& c) For 2007/08 it reports 4 cases of maladministration. In each of these, we complied with the Ombudsman's recommendations.
