Commissioner of the CLAE and/or Local Government Ombudsman (years,
months, days)

4) a copy of the terms of appontment for each of the Commissioners
since 01 JANUARY 2000;

5) a copy of any documents prepared by any member of the CLAE or
prepared on behalf of the CLAE enabling the members of the CLAE to
meet the requirements of the Public Involvement in Health Act, 2007
that amended s23 of the Local Government Act 1974 related to the
appointment and removal of Commissioners.

recognising that Jerry WHITE was appointed as an Local Government
Ombudsman on about 01 March 1995 (about 14 years ago) a copy of his
terms of appointment to the Commission for Local Administration
England ['CLAE'] is also requested. It is anticipated that this
shall take account of s168 (4) of the Local Government and Public
Involvement in Health Act 2007, that amends s23(5) of the Local
Gvernment Act 1974 and shall have been approved by the Secretary of
State and their Department in the pursuance of good administrative
practice by both the CLAE, and the Secretary of State and their
Department.
