Dear Mr Lister,
Thank you for your clarification concerning your request for information
in relation to searches.
I note that you have confirmed that you require "Searches compiled and
sold for inclusion in Home Information Packs.Con29 and LLC1
combinations."
I would be grateful if you could provide one further point of
clarification on this matter.
Could you please confirm if your request is in relation to:-
1. CON29 forms received since 1 April 2009 where all the information is
required (ie an answer is required to all questions on the form).
2. CON29 forms received since 1 April 2009 where only some of the
information is required (ie an answer is required to only some of the
questions on the form).
I am able to advise that, irrespective of which of the above you
require, it is not possible to run a simple report identifying which
searches are due to them being included in a HIP. In order to identify
this, it would be necessary to inspect every single record.
I am able to confirm that we receive a large number of CON29 forms and
as a result it would take a considerable amount of time and resources to
undertake this exercise.
I can further advise, though, that it would be possible to provide you
with the total number of full searches (item 1 above) and the total
number of partial searches (item 2 above) received since 1 April 2009,
but this would be irrespective of whether they were for inclusion in a
HIP.
I would be grateful if you could confirm if you wish to proceed with
your request on this basis.
Yours sincerely,
Information Officer
