I would like to make a request for information using the Freedom of
Information Act.

I would like to know the number of MPs and lords that are, or have
been, members of a fraternal society/organisation and if any
governmental or shadow government portfolio was held.

It is not clear what you mean by members of a fraternal society/organisation. However, if you mean membership of a trade union, Masonic lodge, Rotary society etc, this information is not held by the House of Commons.

If you would like to resubmit your request, please provide examples of the sorts of societies or groups of interest to you and we will again review the information held by the House of Commons.
