List of Internal Audit reports

Dear Liverpool City Council,

I was informed by a letter from the Council dated 21 December 2009
that:[1]

"...it has been identified that during other investigations into
areas of business across Liverpool City Council and others, there
have been 175 reports held by Internal Audit and dated back to the
period from April 2006."

The quantity of these reports was cited as an excuse that the
council was unable to select from them those which concerned
Liverpool Direct Limited operations.

I fully understand reluctance of the Council to act as a librarian
in search of documents that have been requested by their contents
rather than their names.

Accordingly, please send me:

* A authoritative communication or document relating to the "other
investigations" wherein the figure of 175 reports is implied.

* The full list of 175 reports, including their titles, dates, and
authors.

In my opinion, the spread sheet provided to you, cannot possibly be accurate. If you look at my own request titled 'City Watch' I ask on two occasions if Internal Audit had at anytime carried out investigations against members of City Watch. Twice I was told they had not. If you look at the spread sheet, it shows the following reports were produced:

Report Number 382, City Watch 1, 28.3.08

Report Number 383, Street Crime Warden, 28.3.08

Report Number 535, City Watch 4, 26.11.08

Report Number 647, City Watch 2, 31.03.09
