Dear Southwark Borough Council,

Under the freedom of information act I am writing to request a list
of empty commercial property, i am particulary interested in empty
office buildings. I am making prelimonary enquires about finding a
property for a not-for-profit art organisation that supports young
artists and brings culture to the community. I would greatly
appreciate you co-operation.

The list of commercial properties listed on Southwarks web site has not been updated for some months. Try asking them to specify the location, rent, rates, floor area

Under section 21 of the Act, we are not required to provide information in
response to a request if it is already reasonably accessible to you. The
information you requested is available on Southwark Council's website at:

This lists all council owned vacant commercial property to let or for sale
within the borough. Unfortunately we do not hold information on private
vacant commercial properties.
