Dear Mr Woodley
Further to my email below, please note that the information attached to
that email provides details Commercial properties that are within your
District Council up to a rateable value of £12,000 who are not currently
in receipt of small business rate relief. Please note that we are unable
to provide you with details of whether these properties are entitled to
receive small business rate relief only that they are not claiming for
it. Our system does not record such information and in order to provide
this information we would need to review each of the accounts detailed in
the attached. Our determination is that this would require us to create
new information which we are not required to do under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000.
Please also find attached the Small Business Rates Relief application
form, which contains the criteria for qualifying on the back of the form.
I trust that we have answered your queries, however if you have any
further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
