Dear Sir or Madam,

Please could you provide me with a list of all postal districts
(also known as the outward code) currently in use by the Royal
Mail.

Please could you provide this in electronic format, such as plain
text or comma separated value (csv) file.

Please could you also in your reply clearly state what copyright
license you are releasing the information under and if it may be
legally republished.

I was looking at this list on Wikipedia and could not find any official list of UK postal districts, so I decided to make this request.

I am following this in the hope that i can find out why for example letters posted in Northampton are franked Leicester, the same applies for letters posted in Bicester are franked Swindon ?
