The request was successful.

From: Trevor R Nunn

14 January 2009

Dear Sir or Madam,

During the last five years how many times has the Local Government
Ombudsman (as a result of investigating a complaint against Wycombe
District Council) brought to the attention of the council the fact
that a member of Wycombe District Council staff had misled them,
lied to them or done anything else to hinder their investigation.
If they have what disciplinary action was taken against the
individual(s) concerned by the council.

Yours faithfully,

Trevor R Nunn

Dear Mr Nunn

Freedom of Information Request Ref: 5642
Wycombe District Council
Thank you for your request for information received on 14 January 2009 as
detailed below:

"During the last five years how many times has the Local Government
Ombudsman (as a result of investigating a complaint against Wycombe
District Council) brought to the attention of the council the fact
that a member of Wycombe District Council staff had misled them,
lied to them or done anything else to hinder their investigation?
If they have what disciplinary action was taken against the
individual(s) concerned by the council."

I am dealing with it under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act
2000.

I can confirm that during the last 5 years, the LG Ombudsman has never
brought to the attention of the Council the fact that a member of Council
staff had misled them, lied to them or done anything else to hinder their
investigations. I can therefore also confirm that no disciplinary action
has been taken against any member of staff with regard to this issue.
