FREEDOM OF INFORMATION

The response to your request of 14 January 2009 was as follows:

1) You wanted to know during the last five years how many times has the
Local Government Ombudsman (as a result of investigating a complaint
against South Bucks District Council) brought to the attention of the
council the fact that a member of South Bucks District Council staff had
misled them, lied to them or done anything else to hinder their
investigation?

In the last five years we have had no findings of maladministration
against us and no cases in which a member of staff has misled, lied or
hindered their investigations.

2) You also wanted to know if they have, what disciplinary action was
taken against the individual concerned by the Council?

This is not applicable and therefore no disciplinary action has been taken
against any individual of South Bucks District Council during the time you
specified.

I hope this answers your questions but if you feel that it does not, you
can contact me with your queries. You also have the right to request an
internal review of your request and ultimately to complain to the
Information Commissioner should you still be unhappy with the outcome.
