I would like to request the following information under the Freedom
of Information Act:
- Details of any consultancy services procured by the LGA as part
of its role as the "Selector" of projects under the Sustainable
Communities Act 2007. If possible, please include details of the
contractor brought in, the length of the contract and services
rendered, and total cost.

Thank you for your request for information made under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 (FOIA) on 1 June 2009. Please note that the LGA is
not covered by the provisions of the Act, but we always try to deal with
such requests within the spirit of the legislation.
The LGA has spent a total of *16,990 on consultancy fees as part of its
role as "Selector" of projects under the Sustainable Communities Act 2007.
This is made up of *14,800 in consultant fees, and *2,190 in IT
development and infrastructure to Liberata
