Over the last five years
(1) How many Local Government Act Part III Section 32(3) notices
has your council served on a Local Government Ombudsman.
(2) How many times has the Ombudsman concerned found the council
guilty of maladministration for misusing a Section 32(3) notice.

Dear Mr Nunn
I refer to your request for information (sent via email on 12 October
2009) concerning notices under Section 32(3) of the Local Government Act
1974 in the last 5 years.
I can advise you as follows:
(1) This Council has served no notices under Section 32(3) of the
Local Government Act Part III on a Local Government Ombudsman.
(2) The Ombudsman concerned has not found this Council guilty of
maladministration for misusing a Section 32(3) notice.
If you have any queries concerning the information provided, please do not
hesitate to contact me. If you are still unhappy with the response you are
entitled to pursue any dissatisfaction through the Council's Complaints
Procedure by writing to Mrs G L Rowe, Council Secretary and Solicitor.
