Dear Mr Nunn
I have consulted with my colleagues and as far as we are aware, in the last five years:
1) We have not served any such notices on the Local Government Ombudsman.
2) There have been no findings of maladministration against the council by the Local Government Ombudsman.
This would appear to conclude your enquiry satisfactorily. If you have any concerns in respect of our response to your information request, please contact me again.
If you are not satisfied with the response, you may write to the Legal Services Manager at West Dorset District Council, Stratton House, 58-60 High West Street, Dorchester, Dorset DT1 1UZ or complete the on-line complaint form that can be found at www.dorsetforyou.com. If after this you are still not satisfied, you may write to the Chief Executive at the above address. If your complaint is not resolved to your complete satisfaction, you have the right to apply to the Information Commissioner for a decision.
Yours sincerely
David Wignall
