Late Filing: Balli Aviation

P. John made this Freedom of Information request to Companies House

The request was partially successful.

From: P. John

17 February 2010

Dear Companies House,

please could you help me to understand what action Companies House
have taken against company 06034740/Balli Aviation Limited?

The Company were incorporated on 20/12/2006. According to the
public record they first filed accounts over 2 years later on
10/02/2009. I believe those accounts were therefore overdue.

Accounts for the year 2008 were due 31/10/2009, and are again
currently four months late.

Please could you disclose to me;
- copies of the default notices that have been sent to
06034740, (but which are not available on WebCheck)
- copies of other correspondence between Companies House and
directors of 06034740 in the period 2006 to the present
day, concerning their failure to comply with the legislation and
regulations enforced by Companies House
- details of penalties or enforcement proceedings resulting from
late filing by directors of 06034740
- names of any directors who may have been disqualified for failing
to comply with UK company law

As a point of information, Balli Aviation were recently convicted
of criminal offences in the USA (*).

Many thanks,
Yours faithfully,

P. John

Dear Mr John
I refer to my colleagues email to you on 10 March 2010, to which we do not
seem to have received a reply?

Mrs Lumsden has requested your permission to disclose your identity as the
applicant in this enquiry.

I should explain that we have asked for your permission as, from
experience in these matters, we often find that third parties need to
know the applicants identity, as sometimes this is a factor in whether or
not they are content for the requested information to be released.

I would be most grateful for an urgent response to this email.

Yours sincerely

Dear Ms Harnett,

thanks for your note and apologies for the delay responding.

After considering, I'm afraid the prospect of providing personal
information such as my address to a bunch of international
criminals linked to illegal dual use technology sales to Iran
doesn't fill me with much enthusiasm.

Please could you progress my request as far as possible without
this information?

Yours sincerely,

P. John
