Dear Sir or Madam,

Further to the FOI request at
http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/lo...,
in response to which you provided a list of every postbox that the
Royal Mail Group operates, I am writing to ask whether the Royal
Mail Group also holds details of the last collection times for each
of these postboxes.

If so, please could you provide me, under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000, with the last weekday collection time (and
last Saturday collection time if different) for every Royal Mail
postbox on the list already supplied.

Yours faithfully,

Abi Broom

My application to locate postboxes now has these last collection times included: http://www.dracos.co.uk/play/locating-po...

I have noticed that the list is not complete. For instance there should be 26 Boxes listed under DN35, but there are only 13 shown

The files provided appear to be seriously defective in terms of numbers of entries. The list of postboxes has 116,088 entries; these files of last collection times appear to contain a total of only 60,121 entries - little more than half the total number of postboxes. To my mind this is not a satisfactory response to the request.

Matching up the entries from these files with the entries from the postbox list, sorted by reference, it seems almost as if every second postbox has been omitted from the collection times list.
