Christina. Please find detailed below the information which you
requested regarding landfill site management contracts.
Contractor - Cory Environmental
Date awarded - 2001
Expiry date - 1st April 2011
Contract value - approx £575,000 pa. (This figure will vary depending
on how much waste we deliver, and also would have been much less when
the contract was awarded)
Services provided - To dispose of household waste

Contractor - WRG
Date awarded - 2001
Expiry date - 1st April 2011
Contract value - approx £1,820,000 pa (again this figure will vary
depending on how much waste we deliver, and would also have been
different when the contract was awarded as the contract was initially
shared with Bath and North East Somerset.
Services delivered - Provision of the rail delivery and disposal of
household waste.

There is also a contingency contract based on a framework (call off)
contract (10 contractors) for use in an emergency should any of the
above fail.
