The request was successful.

From: Owen Blacker

Dear Sir or Madam,

I believe your agency compiled a report into the policing of the
"Climate Camp" at Kingsnorth Power Station in July and August 2008.

I would like to request, under the Freedom of Information Act, a
full copy of that report.

Thank you.

Yours faithfully,

Owen Blacker

Dear NPIA FOI Team,

I'm sorry, the report you have pointed me to is what I believe to
be the second report commissioned by the NPIA into the "Climate
Camp" protest at Kingsnorth.

The report I was meaning to request was an earlier report,
mentioned on the "Index on Censorship" blog at
http://www.indexoncensorship.org/2009/05...
and at
http://blog.indexoncensorship.org/2009/0...
(and alluded to by Emily Apple on The Guardian's "Comment is Free"
blog today, at
http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/...
)

I would like to request a copy of that first report under the
Freedom of Information Act.

Sorry for any confusion.

Yours sincerely,

Owen Blacker

Dear Mr Blacker,

The link sent is the Climate Camp statement on Kent Police which includes the NPIA report, this is the second link of the three PDF's (or please use direct link below)

http://www.kent.police.uk/Climate%20Camp...

There appears to be some confusion with the link to the general statement on Kent Police's website, as two journalist have already come back to us having missed the NPIA report. I can only assume that this is the case with Ms Apple's article as the link she has provided (the second one in your list) is the report being referred to by Chris Ames.

I hasten to add that the NPIA have not commissioned any report into to the Climate Camp at Kingsnorth, these reports have been commissioned by Kent Police.

Apologies for the confusion.

Regards.
