Dear Margo Lusk,
Many thanks for your reply. Said reply does answer the first
question as to "Which WDC Jobs have been allocated to Grade 6 under
the Proposed
Pay and Grading Structure 2007" in the Spreadsheet attachment
(Grade6 Posts.xls).
However, the second question, "what were the salary scales for each
of these jobs over the past 6 years", has not been fully answered.
You have provided a Word attachment (Salary Scales 2006-2008.doc)
which provides some of the answer but not all. There are 2
important omissions. The first is that the answer only provides
back to broadly a 3 year period, rather than the 6 year period
requested.
Secondly, this file provides salaries and scale points, but in the
main does not provide any means to correlate the scale points to
actual occupations/jobs as per my question. The previously
mentioned spreadsheet attachment does indicate the scale point for
5 of the jobs only. The vast majority of jobs indicate an AP# or a
TG# current grade, which with the information you have provided
cannot possibly be correlated to the salary scale for the job in
question.
Can you therefore please provide me with the information necessary
to allow me to identify the salary scales for the jobs identified
in the previously mentioned spreadsheet attachment. Also can you
provide this information for a 6 year period. Both of these will be
necessary, to fully answer my original question.
Many thanks.
Yours sincerely,
Jim Galloway

Jim,
Please find salary scales for the 3 years previous as requested, these documents can also be provided by COSLA. As previously advised, the information you require in relation to the correlation of the salary scales to each job is unavailable.
