Dear Jordan
I enclose the information you requested under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000.

Section 106 monies are paid to the City Council by Developers for off
site contributions to provide new, and enhance existing facilities.

S106 agreements are all individually negotiated by the planning teams
but do not specifically state individual offsite projects to be
completed with their contribution, so in relation to your question;
We have not received any money for the Jesus Green skate ramp under
"the" or any other S106 agreement.
We have also searched through the relevant S106 documents and can
confirm no S106 monies were used to build the existing skate park on
Jesus Green either.

Active Communities section of the City Council consult and deliver
projects in the Citys Parks and Open spaces of which some are S106
funded from monies collected for Children's Play, Informal and Formal
Open Spaces.

Ideas are submitted from the public, councillors and officers through
the improve your neighbourhood scheme
http://www.cambridge.gov.uk/ccm/content/...

which then go through a scrutiny process for eligible ideas to be added
to the working list to then consult upon fully, seek viability, and
deliver upon.

We do have a project in the current S106 Open Spaces and Recreation
list relating to improvements for Jesus Green Skate Park;
Project 10 on page 12 of the following document
http://www.cambridge.gov.uk/public/counc...

Project - Expansion / Extension of skate park, Jesus Green (TW009/WC/A)

Ward - West/ Central
Approximate capital cost - £58,000
Proposed year of completion - 10/11

but as the above project is currently in consultation and a tendering
process, no S106 monies have been formally requested, allocated nor
drawn down to date.

Yours sincerely
Ian Ross
