Dear Luton Borough Council,

I would like to request a complete list of suppliers/contractors
and consultants that have been used over the past year when
procuring I.t hardware and the total spend on i.t hardware during
the past year. Also could you break this hardware spend down to
show what brand servers, networking and desktop hardware were
purchased with a spend amount in each segment.

I would also like to request full details of the person(s) who
conduct the i.t purchasing there.

Thank you for your email - I can only apologise for the lack of
response. In mitigation I would point out that we have been deluged
with FOI requests, probably not unconnected with the forthcoming
elections and we are struggling to deal with them all. I am intending
to spend tomorrow having a blitz on as many of them as I can and this
will include yours.

I have just discovered, to my horror, that the attached information was
not sent to you when it was produced. Unfortunately we do not yet have
the information for 2009/10 as the year has only just ended and the
accounts are not yet finalised.

The person who conducts IT purchasing here is our Head of Procurement,
Chris Addey.

I hope this answers your enquiry but if you are unhappy with our
