No, my next step will be to ascertain whether emails to Aston University from this website are being delivered correctly. Because, if they are not, requesting a review will be futile.
But rest assured I asked a member of the 'whatdotheyknow' team to check the email address they have for Aston Uni about a week ago, so you can sleep soundly in your bed tonight.

Dear Mr Ormerod
A gentle reminder. Why not try to get an answer to your FOI request above ?

Don't worry Fred - I got the information elsewhere, about 2 weeks ago.

Dear Mr Ormerod
It seems your FOI Request was vexatious as the information was available elsewhere.

Firstly, the info was disclosed to me by somebody at Aston University, other by using this site. It was 'available elsewhere'.
Further, even if it was readily available, that wouldn't make it a vexatious request; the info would simply be exempt from disclosure (if the University wished to exempt it) by virtue of Section 21 of the FOI Act.
If you're going to try and be clever, at least show a basic grasp of the legislation.

Previous post should have said it *WASN'T* 'available elsewhere'
