Dear Sir or Madam,
I also asked for the follow on in dpeth questionnaire in a seperate
request. You sent me the initial questionnaire to that FOI request
in stead of this one and I am still waiting for the in depth follow
on questionnaire responses whihc were actually asked for in the
other FOI request.

Dear Ms Berlow
On 29th August, you emailed us (twice - one email referred to Shropshire)
asking for Kent County Council's response to the more in-depth
questionnaire which followed on from the initial 60-question survey about
elected home education. Because 29th August was a Saturday (weekends and
bank holidays do not count as working days for the purpose of the Freedom
of Information Act 2000), these emails were classed as being received on
the next working day which was Tuesday 1st September and therefore KCC had
until 29th September to provide this information to you. My colleague
actually replied to you on 24th September (within statutory timescales)
and the attached completed questionnaire which she provided you with is
indeed Kent's response to the follow-on questionnaire, not the initial
questionnaire as you suggest in your latest emails.
On 5th September, you emailed us asking for Kent's response to the initial
60-question questionnaire and again, because 5th September was a Saturday,
and the request is classed as being received on 7th September, we have
until 5th October to provide this to you although I understand the
information will follow shortly.
I hope this clarifies the situation.
If you are unhappy with this response, and believe KCC has not complied
with legislation, please ask for a review by following our complaints
process; details can be found at this link

on our website. Please quote reference FOI/09/986 (in-depth questionnaire)
or FOI/09/1005 (initial questionnaire).
If you still remain dissatisfied following an internal review, you can
appeal to the Information Commissioner, who oversees compliance with the
Freedom of Information Act 2000. Details of what you need to do, should
you wish to pursue this course of action, are available from the
Information Commissioner's website

Dear Sir or Madam,
i have asked for the in depth follow on questionnaire filled out
for the Badman review and i have recieved in triplicte the initial
long questionnaire instead
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of
Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Kent County Council's
handling of my FOI request 'initial questionnaire elective home
education'.

Dear Sir or Madam,
would it help if i pointed you in the direction of what the correct
questionnaire looks like? this is still not the in depth follow on
questionnaire. The one I am looking for asks firstly what percent
of current caseload is known to social care, q2 asks what percent
in your estimation have safeguarding implications? q3 asks for some
case review .q4 asks about estimation of those not receiving any
education, q5 asks about estimation of those who deregistered to
avoid prosecution for attendance issues and q6 asks about
percentage who became NEET

Dear Ms Berlow
Thank you for your email below which was most helpful and has enabled me
to locate what I hope is the "missing" information, that is, Kent County
Council's response to the in-depth questionnaire following on from the
initial survey about elective home education.
I think that the confusion arose at our end because myself and my
colleague Ms Hunt were provided with what appeared to be two different
questionnaires to satisfy your two requests so we naturally assumed one
was KCC's initial response to the survey and the other was KCC's response
to the follow-on. I assume that both were KCC's responses to the initial
survey but one was the on-line version. I can only offer my sincere
apologies for the confusion, which has resulted in delays in providing you
with the information you asked for and hope that the attached
document now completes your requests.
However, if you remain unhappy, you can appeal to the Information
Commissioner, who oversees compliance with the Freedom of Information Act
2000. Details of what you need to do, should you wish to pursue this
course of action, are available from the Information Commissioner's
website [1]http://www.ico.gov.uk/complaints/freedom... or
you can phone the ICO Helpline on 08456 30 60 60.
