Dear Sir or Madam,
I am seeking information about the following 2003 incident
described herein:
In May 2003, three anthrax hoax letters containing white powder and
death threats were sent (postmarked) from Milton Keynes to the Los
Gatos and Campbell, California police departments, as well as to a
private residence in San Jose, California.
The lead agency investigating the matter in the US was the United
States Postal Inspection Service. Information on the UK end of the
case is sought.

I’m writing in response to your email dated 12th December 2008.
In your email you requested “information on the UK end of the case” in
relation to an incident in May 2003 where hoax letters and death threats
were sent to police departments and a private address in California.
Royal Mail does not hold any information to the incidents you specified.
I am sorry that the information you requested is not held by us, if you
