Dear Mr Starky,
FOI 08/0525
I am writing with regards to your FOI request of 12 August regarding the
number of job vacancies that were externally advertised by the department
broken down between April 07 to April 08 and between 1st April 2008 to
30th June 2008.
The Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills was created as a
result of Machinery of Government changes in June 2007. As a result there
were not a large number of vacancies advertised during the periods
requested.
From 01 April 2007 to 31 March 2008 there were no jobs advertised
externally; &
From 01 April 2008 to 30 June 2008 there were 15 posts advertised
externally.
If you wish to discuss any of the above, please contact me. Please
remember to quote the reference number above in any future communications.
Appeals procedure
If you are unhappy with the result of your request for information, you
may request an internal review within two calendar months of the date of
this letter. If you wish to request an internal review please contact me.
