Thank you for your freedom of information enquiry dated 6 September 2008 requesting, for the period of time for which such records exist, the text of all the freedom of information requests that have been received by the National School of Government; request IDs; and the date each request was received.

Based on a search of my records, please find attached the text of FOI enquiries sent to the National School of Government since the Act was formally implemented on 1 January 2005.

Before becoming a department in its own right, the National School formed part of the Cabinet Office. We have, on occasion, been asked to contribute information to FOI enquiries sent to the Cabinet Office. However, such enquires are recorded and processed by that department.

In addition, I should note that I have deleted or concealed the names and addresses of the individuals requesting information in accordance with the exemption set out at Section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 ('personal information').

The request ID we assign for the purposes of filing FOI enquiries consists of the applicant's name plus the date the enquiry was made. Given the need to anonymise requests, I have simply supplied the date of each request.
