Dear FOI Office,
You ask for clarification on the meaning of "pension contributions"
in my recent FOI request.
I understand that public sector employers like universities make a
contribution for each employee to the index linked final salary
pension scheme that is provided as a perk to public sector
employees such as university employees. I understand that this
contribution is a percentage of each public sector's employee's
salary.
For the three senior employees which I mention in my recent request
I would like the employers contribution to be included in the
calculation of year on year percentage increases.
Yours sincerely,
William Armstrong
