In cases where both man and woman try for primary custody, what are the statistics for sucess?

Andrew made this Freedom of Information request to Children and Family Court Advisory Support Service

Children and Family Court Advisory Support Service did not have the information requested.

Dear Children and Family Court Advisory Support Service,

In cases where both the man and the woman try for primary (or sole)
custody of a child, how often does the women win, how often does
the man win, and how often is joint custody granted?

With the joint custody figures could you then give a breakdown of
primary residence with men/women?

Yours faithfully,

Andrew Chambers

Thank you.
Before we begin collating the information can you confirm that by primary custody you mean residency?
Best wishes
Miss Jassal.

Dear Jassal, Jasvinder - Cafcass,

hiya,

Yes, sorry. In cases where both parents go for primary residency,
what are the percentages for success? If you have the full break
down of what people go for and what they get (split for gender)
that would be even better.

Yours sincerely,

Andrew
