Dear Case Resolution Dir Gen Enquiries,
Thank you for your response dated 14 November 2008 to my email
dated 08 November 2008.
To clarify I would like to know what proportion of cases resolved
by the casework resolution directorate is made up of cases where
all that happens is that status papers are issued to applicants
following succesful asylum/ immigration appeals. (as opposed to
resolving fresh claims, old cases, leave extensions etc)
Perhaps you could provide figures for the proportion of cases
resolved between November 2007 and September 2008 that simply
involved granting status to applicants that had successfully
appealed Home Office decisions to refuse to grant them leave to
remain.
Yours sincerely,
Bazen Inquai
