Dear Sir or Madam,
In evidence to the House of Commons defence select committee on
Oct. 21, Brigadier Chip Chapman, Director (Military) CT & UK Ops at
the MOD, told MPs that DSTL immediate response teams had been
deployed on a number of occasions in the last year.
Under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act, please
a) provide figures for the number of occasions the immediate
response teams have been deployed:
i) between Jan 1, 2008 and Oct 23, 2008.
ii) in 2007
iii) in 2006
iv) in 2005
b) unless prohibited on grounds of national security, please
indicate how many of the above listed incidents related to
i) real CBRN incidents
ii) suspected CBRN incidents
