Dear Information Rights Unit, HM Treasury,
Thank you for your thorough reply.
It's unfortunate that in a modern, 'open' democracy that some large
parts of the inner machinations of government remain beyond the
view of the voting public.
I would like to ask that in the light of your refusal to provide me
with the full set of information that you provide me with the HM
Treasury's 'side' of the conversation for the relevant period - as
this information would not fall under diplomatic immunity or
related legislation. Alternatively I could simply lodge another
request.
Thank you again for your reply.
Yours sincerely,
Richard McMillan
