Dear Sir or Madam,
Could you please provide copies of all internal policy documents
and instructions to staff regarding the processing of reports
received of illegally spaced or mis represented number plates?
I am interested in guidance regarding how many occasions a number
plate can be reported to yourselves before a decision is taken to
withdraw it and what the policy documents state as to what
determines a number plate to be considered offensive.
Please do not take this last statement to be the sole matter I
require an answer to, but merely as a example of the kind of
information I expect to find in such documents.
Can I also preempt any reply from yourselves that you will not
release the information as it will compromise law enforcement as
law enforcement action will already have been taken against the
individual by way of a fixed penalty notice being issued, and your
actions cannot be said to affected after the fact
Yours faithfully,
Tom Rogers
