From: Ms. J. Priest
24 February 2010
Dear Blackpool Borough Council,
Please can you provide me with the following information:
1. Who are the two largest suppliers, by value, of wide area
networking services to the Authority?
2. When are the main contracts with these suppliers due to expire?
3. How many sites on your network require high speed (greater than
1Gb) connections?
4. Have you outsourced your ICT services to a third party?
If so, please specify to whom and the contract expiry date?
5. How many Data Centres do you use and are they on council
premises or third party premises? If third party, please specify
who is the supplier and the contract expiry date.
6. Do you use commercial 'co-location' services and if so who is
the supplier and when is the contract expiry date?
Yours faithfully,
Ms. J. Priest
