Icelandic Investments

Could you please release the amount of money the college currently
has invested in Icelandic banks.

I would also like to know the dates and amounts of any deposits
made to Icelandic banks in 2007 and 2008. For fixed term
investments could you please note the period for which the funds
are to be held.

To put these figures in perspective I would also like to request:
i/ The total cash investments held by the college in October 2008.

ii/ The total value of other (land and property) investments held
by the College in October 2008.

If October 2008 figures are not held I would like to request the
most recent figures available.

If a summary document explaining the current state of the college's
investments has been produced following the turmoil in the
Icelandic banking sector I would like to request a copy of that
document. I expect such a document may have been produced to inform
college fellows and staff of the financial position of the college,
and may have taken the form of a paper presented to a finance
committee or governing body meeting, or a briefing for the Bursar
or Master (or their equivalents).

I would also like to request copies of any correspondence from 2008
on the subject of investments in Iceland between the college and:
i/ The University of Cambridge.

ii/ The UK Government.

iii/ The Icelandic Government.

iv/ Any other Cambridge Colleges.

Any other information you wish to disclose in order to present the
college's position with respect to Icelandic investments fully and
accurately would be gratefully received.
