Dear CIO-FOI (MULTIUSER),

Thank you.

To clarify;

Middle East here refers to; Iraq & Afghanistan

What are the top 5 medical complaints- in the last 12 months made
by British Armed Forces based in the Middle East and what are the
top 5 general complaints made by the same, but in the last 24
months please?

How many times has it been noted by any other staff / members of
the forces that electrolytes /hydration powders/tablets have been
unavailable to the forces serving in the Middle East?

Yours sincerely,

Liz R

Dear PJHQ-J9-ADMIN-SUPT (Hall, Denise E1),

Thank you,

Looking at your medical complaint list; with gastrointestinal
problems being at the top I'd appreciate a review as to where their
is enough re-hydration remedies available? As you may know,
potassium, bicarbonate, salt and glucose (maybe with a little
magnesium) is a simple inexpensive remedy, it's also only needed in
tiny quantities so there maybe cheaper ways providing this mixture
than in using brands like Diorylite? Just a thought that is maybe
more inexpensive and more readily available to use the basic
recipes by on site pharmacists on request? Just a thought

Thank you for this information

Yours sincerely,

Liz R
