following:

How much has the MPS currently spent on changing there HR from
distinct units into 1 large call centre?

Which contractor has the contract to deliver the new HR IT system?

How many competitors made bids for the contract to deliver the new
IT system?

What is the current estimated delivery date for the rollout of the
HR IT system?

What is the current estimated delivery date for HR to move into the
new centralised scheme?

by the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) on 09/07/2010. I note you seek

Information Act 2000 (the Act). You will receive a response within the
statutory timescale of 20 working days as defined by the Act, subject to
the information not being exempt or containing a reference to a third
party. In some circumstances the MPS may be unable to achieve this
deadline. If this is likely you will be informed and given a revised
time-scale at the earliest opportunity.

another public authority in order to answer your query in the fullest

This is to inform you that I cannot identify any specific records /
documents that will satisfy your request based on the details you have
provided. To enable the MPS to meet your request could you please provide
this office with further information in relation to your first question.
Are you interested in how much has been spent to date and could you also
specify if you are referring to the cost to set up the call centre or
implement the new HR model?

After receiving your reply, your request will then be considered and you
will receive the information requested within the statutory timescale of
20 working days, subject to the information not being exempt or containing
a reference to a third party.

However, if the requested additional information has not been received by
13th October 2010 I will assume you no longer wish to proceed with this
request and will treat it as withdrawn.

3) 8 bidders responded to the Pre Qualification Questionnaire
6 entered 1st round of Competitive Dialogue
3 entered 2nd round of Competitive Dialogue
2 responded to final submitted tenders

4) The new system is planned to roll out in the second half of 2010.

5) Some processes have already moved to being provided on a centralised
model, the balance are intended to be centralised at the same time as the
rollout of the new IT platform.
