motorcycle parking charging scheme, since its implementation in

For ease of reference, I shall respond to each request in turn:

How many Freedom of Information requests Westminster City Council have
received, which relate to the motorcycle parking charging scheme, since
its implementation in August 2008.

The Council has received 102 requests relating to the motorcycle charging
scheme since August 2008.

Of this number, can you please advise how many Freedom of Information
requests were answered late, i.e. the Council replied after the statutory
twenty working days allowed.

17 of these requests were responded to outside the 20 working day
statutory limit.

Finally, how many times have Westminster City Council been contacted by
the Information Commissioner and/or the Local Government Ombudsman for
Freedom of Information requests relating to the motorcycle parking
charging scheme, since its implementation in August 2008.

The Council has been contacted on 0 occasions regarding requests relating
to the motorcycle charging scheme.

I find this hard to believe especially since i have seen an email from the ICO saying that they have not investigated WCC's breaking of the law for not answering FOI's but have written to them more than once reiterating the FOI laws.

Dear Ms Preston,

Could you please confirm that Westminster City Council has never
been contacted by the ICO or Local Government Ombudsman with
regards to FOI requests related to the motorcycle parking
charge/scheme. I have seen quite a few emails sent to the Council
from the whatdotheyknow.com website in which the author advised
that they were taking the matter to the ICO or Local Government
Ombudsman. I would like to receive definite confirmation from
Westminster City Council before I approach the ICO / Local
Governement Ombudsman and find out from their end.

Yes, I can confirm my original response with regard to this question is
accurate. To date, we have not been contacted by the ICO/LGO regarding
complaints about motorcycle parking FOI requests.
